The one thing my grandma would always say was if you can read a recipe, you can cook and she was right. No one taught me how to cook I taught myself by researching recipes and a lot of trial and error.
I’m so excited to be able to cook and try new recipes again when we move into our new house tomorrow.
I would cook when I lived with family but it wasn’t the same because other people were cooking at the same time or standing over me asking what I’m making?
I love trying new things and coming up with a menu for the week. When I cook it relaxs me. I get to focus on creating something out of nothing and putting my own twist on some basic meals.
I’m obsessed with watching those tasty videos on Pinterest and twitter. I want to try to make all the videos I watch.
I also love hosting small get togethers with friends and family and I’ll finally be able to do that again. There’s nothing better than cooking, drinking wine and spending time with family and friends.
It’s an exciting time.
Do you enjoy cooking? What are some recipes you suggest? Let me know in the comments.
Cooking your own food is the cornerstone of good health, too. You have complete control of what’s in the food, and you can know that the ingredients are good.
