Having multiple passions is not a bad thing

Every day I wake up and I want to do something else.

One day I’ll be watching HGTV and I want to design houses, the next day I’ll want to write a book or get into the tech world. I’m all over the place. I used to think that was a bad thing but it’s not.

I was talking to my friend the other day and she told me she was having a convo with a very successful businessman and she asked him how he became so successful. He said if you think that anyone that is successful made there income from one avenue you’re wrong. He has his hands in all different projects that range from one thing to the other.

After she told me that it made me realize that I’m not crazy when I bounce from one thing to another. Most entrepreneurs I know have more than one business.

It made me feel better and gave me that motivation I needed.

So if one day I wake up and I want to write a book I’m going to write a book. If one day I want to learn about interior design and real estate I’m going to do that. It’s never too late to do things that make you happy.

You can wear many hats and be successful. I’m passionate about many things so what’s the fun in just focusing on one of them?

Are you someone that bounces from idea to idea? Let me know in the comments

  1. Yes and like you, I thought something was wrong with me. Like why do I have interest in all these different things and cant to focused on just one thing. I thought I have a scatter brain.

  2. I have always been this way as well! I have jumped from job to job and from hobby to hobby over the year’s. ALL very different. I just want to do it all. Lol It’s hard to pick just one. My mind is everywhere!
