I was always a just wing it type of woman. I never liked to plan my day let alone a trip. I loved the idea of going somewhere and just wandering around or even when I’m home I never liked having to do certain tasks at certain times.
This is probably why I don’t excel in the corporate world. I like the freedom of being able to do what I want, when I want.
Even though I do enjoy the non routine life, sometimes I get on a routine and don’t even realize it. Every morning I make a cup of coffee and sit outside with my dogs if it’s nice out. I stay inside with them in the winter but the routine stays the same. This is a time for me to gather my thoughts for the day and get my mind in a peaceful state.
When I workout I usually get into a routine. This helps me work out all areas of my body and it keeps me motivated to workout a couple times a week.
When it comes to traveling, routine goes out the window. We make sure to travel to different places every year. There are too many amazing cities and countries to visit to go to the same place twice.
You can find a healthy balance between being an adventurous soul and keeping a routine.
